It is with a mixture of solemnity and profound pride that the Otonloye UK Branch reflects on the funeral services for our beloved late member, Mrs. Rosaline Omamuli Boyo-Amusa, which took place on the 17th and 18th of February.
As a branch, we are honoured to have stood firmly by the Boyo-Amusa family throughout the funeral period, providing unwavering support during their time of grief. Otonloye UK was fully represented at the services, ensuring that our departed sister was given a truly befitting and dignified farewell.
Mrs. Boyo-Amusa was a cornerstone of our community. Just this past November, during our End of Year Party and Awards Night, we had the distinct honour of elevating her to the status of Life Peer—the highest recognition within our branch for our esteemed elders aged 80 and above. Her wisdom, grace, and dedication to our cultural heritage remain an inspiration to us all.
While we mourn the loss of a vibrant soul, we celebrate a life beautifully lived. Her legacy as a Life Peer and a dedicated member of Otonloye UK will forever be etched in our history.
Rest in perfect peace, our dear Life Peer.
