Celebrating the Life of Mrs Roli Inoniyegha: A Pillar of the UK Itsekiri Community

The two-day burial ceremony, held on the 13th and 14th of September 2023, was a poignant reflection of the love and respect she had garnered throughout her life.

Service of Songs at New Wine Church, Woolwich:

On the evening of September 13th, family, friends, and members of the Itsekiri community gathered at New Wine Church in Woolwich, London, to pay their respects during a solemn Service of Songs. The event was a heartfelt occasion filled with prayers, hymns, and personal anecdotes that celebrated the life of Mrs. Roli Inoniyegha. Attendees shared stories of her unwavering commitment to the community and her nurturing spirit as a Matron.

Funeral Service at Our Lady of Assumption Church:

The following day, September 14th, the funeral service took place at Our Lady of Assumption Church on Deptford High Street, London. The church was filled to capacity as mourners gathered to bid their final farewell to Mrs Inoniyegha. The service was both a celebration of her life and a sombre acknowledgement of her passing.

Interment at Grove Park Cemetery:
